Place2Be
Place2Be is a leading national children’s mental health charity, providing in-school counselling support and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools.
“The exceptional counselling service that Place2Be provides in schools is transformational. It ensures that these children can thrive and take the best possible path in life.”
HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Royal Patron of Place2Be
The need for Place2Be’s services is acute and growing every day. The costs of not providing early mental health support are considerable: children suffer, costs to taxpayers rise and society loses the potential of another individual.
Place2Be has written Conversations about Mental Health with Children and Young People to start help start conversations about mental health. The questions help explore and develop children and young people’s understanding about mental health, including: what it is; how good mental health can be maintained; and how to access help when needed.
